Tipton Home Remodel

The Tipton Home was purchased with a hole in the roof, which had cause substantial water damage to one end of the home.  All new floor joists and subfloor were installed at the damaged area. All of the old plywood was removed from the existing roof, and new plywood and shingles were installed. The home was completely gutted and new framing was constructed where necessary. Old framing was removed to create an open floor plan in the living, dining, and kitchen areas. All new drywall was installed. The old galvanized plumbing was completely removed from the home, and PEX plumbing was installed in its place throughout the entirety of the home. New electrical wires, breakers, and electrical boxes were installed where necessary. This was essentially a complete gut job, while also replacing some of the “bones” of the home. Brand new flooring, paint, vanities, cabinets, countertops, windows, doors, and much more. There was nothing untouched on this one, and it really shows. It is essentially a brand new home.

As far as outside the home, we graded the lot to level, where there had been an existing above ground pool on the property. We installed a French drain around the perimeter of the home to alleviate water getting into the crawlspace. All new landscaping was installed. The existing gravel driveway was concreted, and resurfacing of the front porch was completed. TREX decking was installed at the rear of the home. Finally, new exterior paint, siding, gutters, downspouts, facia, and exterior lighting completed this project.
